We live in a world that is increasingly complex and augmented by more and more data. Data is becoming the fabric of modern life and AI will be its engine. It is a turning point for our society and every single industry. In 25 years we will speak about the current time as the spark of an AI-driven world and AI will be considered as normal as using electricity today. However, how will the next 5-10 years of AI development look like? Inspired by the recent advances in Deep Learning, this talk will introduce deep learning, explain its impact, and provide an outlook about where the journey will go and how the area of deep learning will potentially evolve and therefore change the current AI landscape.
